H-5 Perforating System
The H-5 Perforating System is Hunting’s next-generation plug-and-play perforating platform, designed to simplify field assembly by allowing rapid-arming without removing the charge tube. H-5 delivers premium performance across modern completions operations, including oriented perforating operations where there is an option for an internal lock ring.

Built around ControlFire® Recon technology, H-5 enables full tool-string verification and automated firing at depth, helping confirm critical components before execution. Its rapid-arming, modular design eliminates field wiring and allows the system to be armed without removing the charge tube, reducing handling time and simplifying gun preparation. H-5 also supports a ControlFire Recon cartridge without a bulkhead and is available with an internal lock ring option for oriented perforating, reducing external hardware requirements while maintaining reliable gun alignment.
