Opti-TEK HydraShock™ Balls
At the heart of the HydraShock™ tool is the ball design. These proprietary nanoparticle infused balls are specially designed to extrude through a known restriction size when a known pressure is applied behind them. When the ball passes through the seat, the sudden pressure loss creates a jarring action along the entire string that can free it from many stuck situations.

Features
Resistant to exposure to most chemicals encountered in a wellbore (including acid), and are unaffected by temperatures up to 400ºF (204ºC)
Each ball seat size has a range of corresponding different sized balls that deliver a variety of known extrusion pressures and resulting jarring force.
The different sized balls are not only packaged in different colored bags but each individual ball is colored to avoid any confusion with balls that are very similar in size.
Supplied in a kit with each HydraShock or Rescue Tool, the case includes a range of ball sizes designed for each seat size, that correspond to different extrusion pressures
HydraShock Ball Details
350 Series: Primarily for smaller coiled tubing applications, the 350 series are designed around a tool with a ball seat of 0.35in, with balls ranging from 0.375 to 0.453in for corresponding activation pressures of 5,000 to 12,000psi.
500 Series: Suitable for the majority of coiled tubing applications, the 500 series have a ball seat of 0.5in, with balls ranging from 0.5625 to 0.684in for activation pressures between 4,000 to 10,000psi.
